Antibiotic prescribing in Hospitals

This project aims to aid physicians in choosing antibiotics at the hospital level scenario. It wishes to gather diagrams produced by the Department of Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Control at Hospital Universitário da Ulbra, Canoas RS, Brazil. Medical knowledge bases were modeled using those validated diagrams. Artificial Neural Networks constitute the final inference mechanism for the automatic consulting. Note that this is a work in progress and is subject to errors. One should always base his or her decision by judging the provided flowcharts files. As a central web portal it aims to ensure optimal antibiotic prescribing and limit overuse and misuse of antibiotics in hospitals.
